Always been wanting to rant, as cooping up isn’t the most comfortable.

This world we live in is a world of procastination, of wars, or evil and greed, and also of good, of love and hope. All in all it has always been a matter of choice. Choice of perception.

Take for example, I have half a glass of water. It is either half full or half empty. But in reality it’s the same. It’s how people perceive things. Several people I have known are pretty much strong-headed. The world is wrong for they are correct. It has to be! And once again is there a right and wrong for this? No. It is what they believe in, abeit foolish or not. There are times we have to seek our direction, the one we believe unfalteringly, and there are times we need people to keep us in check. And of course with all sorts of people in the world, there will always be people who are there to check your left while you’re looking your right.

Reviews to come?

I’ve been pondering over what content I should come out with for this sluggish site (for now) and so I decided on these.

I will have a weekly review of good makan places (makan being eat in Malay), and also reviews of anime and movies that I watch. Basically this will be it, and of course if anyone has got any good ideas please feel free to share.

May’n Live Performance in Singapore!

I just couldn’t resist posting this even though I think I’m the thousandth to. And it’s only after I read DM’s article on this did I realise the epic-ness of 22nd and 23rd of November. Mark my words, dead or alive I will be there.

May’n, the singing voice for Sheryl Nome in Macross Frontier, will be performing her first overseas live at Singapore! Totally in love with the songs she sang as Sheryl Nome, so this event is a must. Even though I think that time would be around my mid-semesters’… which means projects and tests. Oh well.

According to DM’s post, there’d be other companies like GSC, Kotobukiya, Alter, Square Enix, etc present at the event.

Pi Er Si De

It strikes me as humourous when a friend of mine read PIERSIDE as Pi Er Si De (I’m multi-lingual). And you try to think just what the heck Pi Er Si De could be and when it really hits you, you laugh your ass off.

On a completely different, side-tracking mention, the Macross Frontier finale was an extreme combination of immensely well-done animation and orgasmic musical extravaganza. If you don’t get it, what I meant was the impeccable choreography between the battle scenes and the duets by Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee.

The generic happy ending made Mikhail’s death very very lame. I was expecting more characters to get blown up.

Also I forsee Clannad~ After Story to be another shining star in this year’s offerings.
