It’s been a fair few months since I had any time for this little spot in the internet, and I thought to myself, woah there’re still people who actually visit my site for that few months I’m away. So it struck me that I could make a comeback, but this time, I want the readers to vote for what they want to see here! So starting from now, I’ll sometimes post on what a reader requests for (nothing risque of course). That way I suppose content will be more user-focused rather than me going on my own tangent.
p.s. “Your kungfu is no match for mine! is a deus ex machina in the card game of Kungfu. I played that a few weeks ago at Mindcafe, where you mindlessly throw tables at your enemies for the heck of it. Damn fun, do try!
p.p.s. Also I’ll try writing a small Starcraft II column over at http://www.xykopath.com. If you’re into SC2 do visit the site from time to time :D

Finally, after getting tempted by news of friends visiting the world’s 2nd largest economy that is Japan, I got a chance myself to visit Tokyo. The largest city and the capital of Japan, Tokyo is a backpackers’ hotspot with places like Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Akihabara and it is easily connected to places like Disney Land, and the ever-popular tourist attraction, Mount Fuji with their mega-network of trains and subways.
This year’s Chinese New Year is special. In the sense it coincides with Valentine’s, and marks the first Chinese new year I can’t hang out with my pals simply because they’ve got to book in camp really fast. Special in a way I spend the night of Valentine’s watching a movie with my cousins. (T_T) Also special in a way that I spend most time awake sniffing and blowing my nose. Yeah it’s that irritable, in chronic flu-like symptom again.

Just last weekend, I was engaged in a deeply lengthy game of Magic, The Gathering (MTG). It was a 2 Headed Giant format, with my side being a Sigil of the Empty Throne (White/Blue control) and a Polymorph (Blue/Red control) deck…
The entirety of Christmas week had seemingly disappeared, with the festive cheer turning into postsantum depression, leaving a bitter aftertaste. Could I have done more?
Perhaps. Perhaps it’s the feeling another year has gone, that makes you think what more you could have done. Maybe I should have picked up photography, tried more games, or learned new skills? But sometimes, what we miss is what we’ve actually done. Maybe it doesn’t sound a lot, maybe it doesn’t make an impressive list long enough to make it a scroll-of-the-year. But it’s always the little things that count, the things we take for granted that count…

持ってけ!
Just less than 24 hours ago, I’ve presented to you guys the interviews SPLA did with Fukuyama Yoshiki and Shoko-tan. And here as promised, we have their exclusive interview with May’n, rising pop star, singing voice of Macross Frontier songstress Sheryl Nome!

Listen to my song!
Just recently, a comrade from SP Life Arts egged me on the interviews they’ve just posted. Their team managed to get a chance to do exclusive interviews with the special guests who performed at AFA09′s ‘I Love Anisong’ concert. To see the interviewers have as much fun as the interviewees is one thing, but to see the gap between Singaporean fans and their Japanese idols bridged is nothing short of awesome. I had tremendous fun reading the 2 interviews, and kudos to the hard work put into them…
